Cast Iron X Blocks include 4340 steel billet main caps and ARP main cap studs, single cross bolt on center three main caps. Cast Iron X blocks use a high nickel cast iron formula to increase strength (65,000 to 70,000 PSI tinsel strength) and reliability. This X Block is designed to offer the old school race Hemi cast iron basic block design strengths with a full wet cylinder water jacket. All bolt-on items such as oil pan, oil pump, water pump, and intake use standard bolt patterns. The priority oiling system supports a very large stroker crank with the standard internal oil pickup system and standard OEM oil pump. Block design will accommodate external oil system if required.

HP blocks maximum clearance for stroker crank to 4.750 still uses internal pickup.
