The original 426 HEMI ENGINE is a legend among people who know and understand performance engines. This engine has set more records than any other engine in racing history.

The Hemispherical head engine has been used in every form of performance competition and today remains the king of performance.

We are very proud to offer one of the strongest, most reliable, modified, high performance engine design packages available.

At Hemi Products we have built and tested our improved High Performance engine to create the most reliable combination of drivable performance, incredible power on demand and real reliability.

We started with the well tested, 40-year-old Hemispherical design. Then we added many high-tech improvements that master engine builders have used for decades.

For many years these modifications were trade secretes, but now some of the oldest master engine builders have shared their secrets with us.

You may not even notice these deep-seated changes, but they can make a world of difference in performance and reliability.

Here are just a few of our design improvements:

• More bottom end strength throughout the lower end of the engine.
• Stronger high performance stress and vibration block rigidity.
• Stronger block, bell housing, lifter valley, pan rail, and side wall design.
• Improved internal wall and cylinder strength.
• Greater crank clearance to allow larger stroke crankshafts without compromising block strength.
• Endurance tested material formulas for the strongest block strength.
• Special heat treatment process to increase material strength.
• Stress relieved block machining.
• Strength enhancing engineered machining.
• Hard wall harmonic relief control.
• Greater longitudinal strength to prevent block twist.
• Improved cooling and circulating water system.
• Improved priortiy oil lubricating delivery, oil circulating and oil return.
• Reduced stress and harmonic loads; machine relieved design improvements.
• Strengthened cross bolt and main caps.
• Improved cylinder sleeve and thermal cooling system.
• Stronger lifter valley and maintenance control improvements.
• Improved oil pickup, crankshaft and rod clearance.

We worked hard to make these improvements without sacrificing the best core qualities of a great engine platform.

We kept many of the standard features, such as standard internal oiling, while allowing great improvements in stroker crankshaft and rod clearance.

Whether carburetors, EFI, turbo charged, forced air or standard carburetors on a large variety of fuels, our versatile design will deliver real performance and real reliability.
